Tour summary

Week 1

We leave Nairobi and enter Tanzania to Arusha. Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater side trip- two nights in the parks. Dar es Salaam on the Indian Ocean Coast.

Week 2

Dar es Salaam - ferry to Zanzibar Island. South throughTanzania we pass through Mikumi Park and on to Malawi with it beautiful lake

Week 3

Lake Malawi – Kande beach resort, sandy beaches, swimming and snorkeling, water-skiing, horse riding Malawi chairs. Lilongwe. Zambia - South Luangwa National Park.

Week 4

Zambia’s capital Lusaka & Victoria Falls - Zambezi River plunges 100 metres down a mile wide chasm lots of adventure activities.

Week 5

Botswana and the Kalahari Desert. Maun on the Okavango Delta, Mokoro trip in a dugout canoe through the waterways. Namibia, Kavango River on the Caprivi Strip.

Week 6

Etosha Pan National Park - game viewing in the evenings by floodlit water holes. Kamanjab Cheetah Farm. Cape Cross Seal. Swakopmund seaside resort.

Week 7

Namib Desert -300 metre high sand dunes. Fish River Canyon. South African border with Orange River. Stellenbosch - wine tour. The end of the trip - Cape Town.
