Nairobi to Dar es Salaam Tour Summary
We leave our camp in Nairobi at 7 am on the first day of the trip.  We recommend you arrive in Nairobi the day before the trip departs; if you're there with a few days to spare there's lots to see and do around the city. In Nairobi town is the National Museum and markets.  Close to the campare; Karen Blixen's house, Langata Giraffe Centre, Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage and Nairobi National Park for a first glimpse of African wildlife.

Day 1 - Monday
On day one of this incredible Dar es Salaam tour  we leave Nairobi in Kenya and head across the border to Arusha in Tanzania at the base of Mount Meru.

Day 2 - Tuesday
In 4x4 vehicles we head straight out into the wild plains of the Serengeti National Park for our first night sleeping out in the wild.

Day 3 - Wednesday
After game drives through the Serengeti, we then head into the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation area.

Day 4 - Thursday
After a morning Game Drive we then head back to Arusha for the evening and a well deserved hot shower.

Day 5 - Friday
On day five we’ll spend the day driving to Dar es Salaam and the Indian Ocean, where we camp by the beach.

Day 6 - Saturday
An early morning ferry ride will take us to the Spice Island of Zanzibar.  In the evening we’ll spend our first night in Stone Town.

Day 7 - Sunday
After an early morning Spice Tour followed by lunch we will head up to the north of the island and relax on the white sandy shores.

Day 8 - Monday
On day eight you have the whole day to relax, snorkel, scuba dive or take a sunset cruise on a Dhow before heading back to the beach for a seafood feast.

Day 9 - Tuesday
On day nine you’ll have chance for one last walk along the beach, before heading back to Stone Town, to stock up on souvenirs and goodies.

Day 10 - Wednesday
You’ll have the morning to take in the spices one last time on day ten before heading back on to the ferry to Dar es Salaam and connect with your flights back home.
