Tour summary
Week 1
We leave Dar es Salaam south through Tanzania; we pass through Mikumi Park and on to Malawi with it beautiful lake. Lake Malawi – Kande Beach resort, sandy beaches, swimming and snorkeling, water-skiing, horse riding, wood carved Malawi chairs.
Week 2
Lilongwe. Zambia - South Luangwa National Park. Zambia capital Lusaka & Victoria Falls - Zambezi River plunges 100 metres down a mile wide chasm lots of adventure activities.
Week 3
Leave Victoria Falls for Botswana and the Kalahari Desert. Maun on the Okavango Delta, Mokoro trip in a dugout canoe through the waterways.
Week 4
Leave Botswana for Namibia, Kavango River on the Caprivi Strip. Etosha Pan National Park - game viewing in the evenings by floodlit water holes. Kamanjab Cheetah Farm. Cape Cross Seal Colony.
Week 5 & 4 days
Swakopmund seaside resort. Namib Desert -300 metre high sand dunes. Fish River Canyon. South African border at the Orange River. Stellenbosch - wine tour. The end of the trip - Cape Town.
